Dr. Thatcher

Dr. Bill Thatcher was born and raised in Regina. He graduated from the University of Waterloo's School of Optometry in 1984 and immediately joined the practice of Drs. MacKenzie, Huber, and Hannah.

Dr. Thatcher is married and has four sons. He enjoys participating in his children's activities, golf, skiing, and spending time at the family cottage. Dr. Thatcher coaches defense in the Regina Minor Football League and remains an avid Riders fan. Currently Dr. Thatcher serves as a board member for the Horizon Laser Vision clinics in Regina and Saskatoon. He also serves as a board member at the Katepwa Beach Golf Club.

Besides his professional interests in refractive surgery and contact lenses, Dr. Thatcher enjoys solving computer related vision problems and providing all aspects of family eye and vision care at InSight Vision Care's four locations – Regina Downtown, Regina Northwest, Balcarres, and Indian Head.
