Dr. Robertson

Dr. Russ Robertson was born in Pincher Creek, Alberta after which he grew up in various towns and cities in western Canada. His father was a member of the R.C.M.P., and transfers brought Dr. Robertson to Provost and Redwater (Alberta), Penticton (British Columbia), and Prince Albert (Saskatchewan) where he completed high school. From there, Dr. Robertson moved on to the University of Saskatchewan where he completed three years of an anatomy/microbiology degree, and was subsequently accepted to the School of Optometry at the University of Waterloo in 1998. He graduated from this program in 2002 with honours and awards in clinical performance and general proficiency. Dr. Robertson then immediately joined the practice of Drs. Huber, Hannah, Thatcher, MacCorquodale, and Kimery where he has been practicing ever since.

Like the other doctors at InSight Vision Care, Dr. Robertson is committed to the care of his patients and is happy to provide eye care for the entire family including contact lenses and refractive surgery. He particularly enjoys pediatric examinations and has an interest in ocular pathology.

Outside of the office, Dr. Robertson enjoys spending time with his two young girls and playing recreational hockey.
